There have been lots of cool and important essays banged out on the internet, but they tend to be lost quite quickly. Here is a collection of the best stuff we've seen.

List of Essays

  • Kill Hollywood - A blog post by Ycombinator, a major startup investment firm that helped sites like Reddit, to put Hollywood to death with better content before they manage to take the world with them.
  • Moot TED Talk - A partial transcript of Moot's presentation about 4chan. It mostly focuses on the development of 4chan. It also underlines the use of anonymity to steer discussion toward what is said rather than who is speaking, the lack of privacy on modern social networks, and the need for the "right to disappear".
