Carrot and Orange Soup

Ingredients

  • 750 g of carrots
  • 750g of onions
  • 9 juicy oranges

The making

  1. cook carrots and onions in salt water
  2. when they become quite soft, romve them from the water and do away with any excess of it
  3. mix them until you obtain a smooth paste that may be diluted with a bit of cooking water
  4. add pepper and cumin to suit your tastes
  5. keep hot
  6. meanwhile press a few oranges (red ones if you want it to look good)
  7. for serving, add cold orange juice to hot carott spread to add in acidity
  • garlic, parsley and cumin may be added to it
