Carrot and Orange Soup

- 750 g of carrots
- 750g of onions
- 9 juicy oranges
- cook carrots and onions in salt water
- when they become quite soft, romve them from the water and do away with any excess of it
- mix them until you obtain a smooth paste that may be diluted with a bit of cooking water
- add pepper and cumin to suit your tastes
- keep hot
- meanwhile press a few oranges (red ones if you want it to look good)
- for serving, add cold orange juice to hot carott spread to add in acidity
- garlic, parsley and cumin may be added to it
