Almond Cake

Ingredients

  • 250g ground almonds

  • 200g melted butter

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • warning: prepare 2 days in advance

The making

Mix everything in a well buttered tin, cook 45mins on low setting

  1. serve with a sabayon icing and almonds

Ingredients

  • 8 egg yolks
  • 1 bottle of french muscat 75cl

The making

  1. beat the egg yolks in the wine without adding any sugar
  2. cook in a bain-marie while whisking it continuously until it thickens can be consumed warm or cold
