Project board for next release: https://github.com/orgs/dita-ot/projects/42
Ops board: https://github.com/orgs/dita-ot/projects/39
- Need to double check if logback library has been updated - there is a new issue getting flagged by scanners
- Toolkit message PR finally merged, major overhaul for consistency and clarity, touching nearly every OT message
- Discussion of message severities - the log update does not touch those
- Added XSLT 3 headers to XSL files
- Chris has a list of pull requests to review: https://github.com/dita-ot/dita-ot/pulls/chrispy-snps
- Need to do a general review of all pull requests soon, get them merged on develop branch and then create release branch
- Also need a general update to dependencies (such as logback noted above)
- Jarno would like to get enhancement to normalization plugin but doubt there is time - comes from customer project
From Chris: not near term, but have seen some interest in separate numbering of figures, specialized elements, etc. Chris has this working using XSLT maps / XSLT 3.
- Related to message refactoring, have done some parallel work in docs repo
- Doing some housekeeping on builds to keep extra files out of build
- Thinking about changes to reduce number of top-level sections in docs. But hard to simplify both breadth and depth at same time, so may not able to complete in the next month, may use OT-day as a way to get input / feedback.
- Robert working on move from preprocess to map-first for HTML, should not mean major update but need to get that prepped soon to get to Roger if it's going to impact docs
- For the day - we have an extra half hour at end, will need to vacate at 17:30, gives a bit more room for our many talks
- Trying to get confirmations now from presenters to ensure they will all appear
- Have 78 registrations, but not all confirmed, expecting that a few will not be able to come. Room capacity is 80, so we're just about full.
