Meeting minutes 2011 11 08

Item 1: Milestone 6 status

Released last Thursday.

Item 2: Milestone 7 plans

Robert has checked in NLV support for Indonesian, Malay, Kazakh. Robert is also working on documentation cleanup.

Jarno has been updating PDF2 language support, pulling strings from internal sources and from XHTML string files.

Documentation: want to clean up the information, and want to get a "quick start" set of information to get things installed (full pkg) and run the demo. Apart from the quick start info: user guide can cover other install details (minimal pkg), topics on basic usage (run a transform), plug-in info, how to work with log file, overview of bundled transform types. Possible: supported languages.

Extended further discussion about documentation. Note that we also have .properties files that can set defaults (always use Antenna House, always do this, etc). These are not documented and hard to find. So - would be good to add this to a topic on how to configure.

Item 3: Other topics

Question about what to do with bug reports where users never respond with clarification / samples, and we cannot reproduce. Would like to discuss these at a committer meeting; likely will close if we cannot reproduce and get no response.

Following traffic on dita-users. Wondering again about an FAQ (likely maintained apart from the OT docs).
