Patches planned or other concerns about 3.7? Branch open for 3.7.4, with a few pull requests open. Discussion about jackson-databind, used to parse project files, has a security issue reported but no fix available yet.
Would like to close that out and release soon, expected to be last patch to 3.7. Several pull requests open, project board is: https://github.com/orgs/dita-ot/projects/34
Project board for next release: https://github.com/orgs/dita-ot/projects/29
Have merged several fixes related to LwDITA
Return to PDF themes - would like to discuss with someone from Syncrosoft, in future would also be nice to generate CSS
Current thinking is that 4.0 is not quite full enough for a full release, but have been planning for announcement at conference. It might mean we follow with 5.0 more quickly than usual. Probably a good idea to release because we don't really want to hold it back until (unknown date), just need to explain the numbering well.
Housekeeping - trying to give feedback on new pdf features. Being tested with bookmap, some of the changes in the code seem to have anticipated maps.
Need to coordinate some updates to netlify.
Related: think the plugin registry is set up to publish to netlify and also github pages? Github pages allowed http connections, which some people had configured in the past, while netlify forced https. Uncertain of date for that change, could probably let go of github pages at this point and older versions of OT can change their configuration to use https.
JavaScript changes on site messed with TOC a couple weeks back (related to JS dependency updates). Jarno fixed that but not sure if anything still outstanding. Roger will take a look. Change was related to the old jquery library. Ideally would like to remove that jquery dependency.
Rotterdam discussion: Final agenda now available, subject to minor edits or any schedule shuffling needed: https://www.oxygenxml.com/events/2022/dita-ot_day.html#agenda
Should try to promote a bit more now that the agenda is ready.
Discussion about DITA 2.0 -- will probably come up in the shop talk session. We can also start off the day having people come up with ideas for the shop talk - sticky notes or something similar - see what the crowd is interested in.
