Using the WebView Panels

There are various WebView Panels for each of the major web sites in the EDCD system:

• EDSM
• Inara
• Spansh

These panels shows you the web page for the system which the travel history cursor (or Journal/star list if your using splitters/grids) is pointing at.

It is strongly advised to download Microsoft WebView 2 (standalone or bootstrapper) and install it to provide a better web experience. Otherwise EDD will have to use IE11 as its default browser and various sites will not work correctly.

If the system is not known, it will show a default page on the site.

It will auto refresh to the next system on a jump if you have the Cursor to Top enabled in your travel page.

You can browse around site using this view to other pages on the web site only. Jumping to external sites or downloading from external sites is disabled for security reasons.

Use this at your own risk - its using your internal browser and its therefore exposed to any naughty web site issues which would catch that browser out. Web sites may have viruses which try and infect your computer. This is why its locked to the website only to reduce that possibility. EDD cannot take responsibility (see license terms) if anything happens.
