Using the Spansh Station Panel

robbyxp1 edited this page Dec 23, 2023 · 2 revisions

This panel shows you station information, taken from Spansh, of either the current system you are in, a user selected system or a list of stations matching a search criteria across systems.

See the video https://youtu.be/pivLR8FzpmY

On opening the panel, it will query and show station information from the system that your history panel cursor is at. Moving the cursor around that panel will refresh the list as you change systems.

Typing a name in the system box will allow you to change the system information is retrieved for.

Clicking on the home button next to the system name will reset the panel back to the current system.

Filtering

The Filter buttons allow you to filter the station list by

  • Station Type
  • Commodities you can buy
  • Commodities that have a sale price and demand
  • Services offered by the station
  • Economy of the station
  • Ships available at the station
  • Modules available at the station

On these dropdowns, Disabled means don't filter by that category. This is the default.

You can also filter by the maximum light second distance from the star.

Show

You can click on the commodity icon to add up to three commodities to show on the grid, so you can make comparisions on their prices across stations.

Search

These buttons allow you to search across systems for a station matching the criteria. You can search for:

  • Commodities you can buy or sell
  • Services offered by the station
  • Economy of the station
  • Ships available at the station
  • Modules available at the station

A dialog opens when the button is pressed to allow you to configure the search, and then the search will take place and when Spansh returns the data it will be presented.

Sorting

Clicking on the column header allows for sorting of the grid by that column.

Right clicking on the column allows you to remove various columns from the display, so you could adapt it to make the width small enough to be incorporated on the history tab of EDD like the nearest stars list.
