Topics and Call-outs

SecureDrop 1.6.0 / Release Frequency

  • Firefox ESR schedule is now every 4 weeks (used to be 6-8): https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar

  • Conor: Targeting every other release -- moving from 4-6 to 8 weeks -- seems prudent

  • Kushal: Agree, we need 6-8 weeks time

  • Conor: Not sure what we'd lose, we're not testing on Tails mid-sprint typically.

  • Tentatively, potentially switching to 8 week schedule, will touch base again tomorrow

New team member

  • Joan starts this week via Internews (3 months open source community manager role)

Schedule update: Ro
