  • Continued drafting of feature specs for beta (currently in GDoc)
  • Taking a couple items from support backlog

  • May tackle some client work as time allows

Yesterday: Updated https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/issues/3929 according to comments made by Kushal.

Today: Trying to reproduce(for learning) https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/issues/3928 Will share update once installation is succeed

Blockers: What should be the esiest way to setup App server and Monitor server for testing? (I am trying by Virtualmachine, but using Tails for admin setup).

Yesterday: Attempting to get securedrop client working, encountering issue we discussed.

Today: More support tasks; further QA on template/build process issue -- take a look at Tails admin issue

Yesterday:

  • Reviewed #3935 and it still requirses chagne
  • Reviewed #3870 for time.sleep removal, and it is still failing randomly. This is the reason those time.sleeps were introduced :( It is not like only the same tests are failing everytime.
  • Worked with Erinm from Localization Lab to make sure that the account is working fine and all the authorization is there as required (still waiting for the final confirmation from Erinm)
  • Worked on the PR for the i18n changes, will push tomorrow (if required I will finish off #3935).

Uploaded Tor and latest kernels to apt-test. Noticed log lines in Qubes -- if someone can spin up staging, confirm if issue appears? Update to Tor looks good, but need further testing.

While building staging, found bug and documented workaround for Qubes staging scenario: https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/issues/3936

Blockers: Not as such, but review on ^^ over course of the week
