- Release update: No RC3 issues, but found issue in docs about i18n instructions re: string feeze -- docs issues incoming.
Yesterday: Merged GCE CI PR. Otherwise, no forward progress in SD land, other than Xenial-related planning discussions.
Today: Working on the iptables _apt user allow. Was hoping for a short path like appending to rc.local, but due to the POLICY/JUMP logic in iptables, looks like we'll have to edit the iptables rules on-disk. Must be careful to accommodate for older versions of the file, to make sure sed matches. =/ Consider adding to support blast for info grab: how old are certain files such as the iptables rules (indicates when Ansible logic last changed the file).
