Call-outs:

Last day in current sprint - let's get stuff over the finish line if we can

Mickael suggested kernel update for 0.10.0, probably on next sprint https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/issues/3838

Added new task to sprint at Kushal's request https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-debian-packaging-guide/issues/3

Conor

Yesterday: SDW 155 https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/pull/155 , began work on SDW 131. Some docs PRs cleaned up and merged (thanks Mike, Kevin!)

Today: The interminable SDW 155 remains unresolved. Discussed with Mickael in detail, more work still required there. In parallel I've pushed forward on SDW 131 and nearly have that work complete, so it might ease review to open a new PR with both change sets. Won't make that today, aiming for tomorrow. Once 155 is merged, will open follow-up issue to address mimetypes in Debian (already discussed with Josh & Mickael). Flagging for extended discussion (Mickael familiar with subject): we're going to need the securedrop-workstation template packaged as RPM and hosted in dom0 sooner rather than later; the template divergence without is complicating review (e.g. SDW 155). h Blockers: None, but imminent on the RPM hosting for dom0. Still willing to press forward on the debian packaging front first.

Emmanuel

Yesterday: Last second admin tasks needed to be completed.

Today: SD Support HW research. Following up with a client.

Blockers: None.

Nothing to escalate.

Erik

Yesterday: Some more UX follow-up & planning, sprint prep

Today: More sprint prep, two user tests with new prototypes

Blockers: None

Jen

At Tor meeting / travel

Kevin

Yesterday:

Today: Support tasks, turning back to time.sleeps task for functional tests.

Blockers: Would like tbb-0.9.0 rebased against develop (Mike volunteers)

Josh

Jumped in on 155 yesterday, was blocked by not having a staging instance of SD. Spent day trying to install staging on Qubes. Going to time-box an hour to get that working today.

Kushal

Yesterday: Had a call regarding building wheels. Different checksums even when repeatedly building on same machine. Have to add more steps in build guide to avoid having to rebuild unnecessarily

Today: Continued work on the guide, pair with Josh on packaging as needed

Blockers:

Mike

Yesterday: Got into an odd patch trying to help out @heartsucker. Was trying to make CI match dev and not make it use remote docker.

Today: Owe Mickael some OSSEC review + tbb merge

Blockers: None

Mickael

Yesterday: Managed to fix OSSEC upgrade issue, should be ready for Mike's review. Built some securedrop kernels, haven't managed to get it to boot. Should wait for next version, see if issue is fixed.

Today: For SDW 155 - happy to pair with Josh, can unblock using my prod instance

Blockers: None

Nicholas

Yesterday: UI plumbing with working sync.

Today: Refactored a bunch of code to make it simpler, tested etc... PR for this work here: https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/pull/29 (login functionality, sync data with the SD server and UI scaffolding).

Blockers: CI on that PR is broken and I'm not sure why. Suggestions welcome.

Nina

Yesterday:

Today: Excited to start testing with two users.
