Release:

  • Did QA for 0.11.0, found that grsec package was not updated; Mickael confirmed and created PR fix. After that is reviewed, need to cut another RC.

Conor

Yesterday: Added docs to GCE CI PR (https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/pull/3909). Tiny reorgs, broke CI briefly, updated it again this morning.

Today: Shepherding 3909 across the finish line. Looking good. Mike noted that Jenkins job isn't currently running, so ignoring for that for now (won't break SD CI).

Found a bug that makes it impossible to send replies because the repaints of the UI blow away the QTextEdit box and replace it with a new one. https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/issues/185

  • Reviewed/merged jaysinh's delete bugfix PR, heartsuckers gpg PR, some other small PRs in client land
  • Fixed minor bugfix resolving client app crash due to gpg homedir
  • Learning time
  • Tested the intel-microcode removal, all good to go

  • Standing by to review anything for 0.11 release process
  • Looking into qt MVC framework stuff in prep for client arch discussion tomorrow

After sprint planning, was busy w/ other projects. Concentrating on SD this week. Will start on sprint tasks -- e.g., unstarring bug. Will be in SF office.

(Friday/this morning) - Get network driver working on new NUCs, not much luck yet. Testing Xenial now, which is working!

  • Updates to QA test plan, running through upgrade path for 5th gen NUCs
