Apply Retention Policy

Overview

On invoking Apply Retention Policy RESTful service to expire studies/series, only one of the following 3 code flows (see left to right) is executed :

• Protect Individual Studies from getting Expired
• Freeze Expiration Date Individual Studies
• Expire Studies and/or Individual Series

Configuration

Configure one or more Study Retention Policy based on one's requirements.

Testing

• Use curl to invoke the Apply Retention Policy RESTful service.
• Using the archive UI, see the Study Expiration Date set in the private attributes as shown below :

• Similarly verify also on Series level.
