Most of these old issues have been closed. Notably, 11464 was discussed at length and we'll improve the version check, likely starting with release 4.6.
Let's decide of the LTS date for 4.4, to be announced at the release of 4.5.
Some background info about RHEL/CentOS: https://lists.phpmyadmin.net/pipermail/developers/2015-August/019079.html
--Lem9 15:08, 2 September 2015 (CEST)
The proposed dates are to extend security support for version 4.0 through April of 2017 (increased from January, 2017) and through April, 2016 for 4.4, which is six months after the release of 4.5.
Do we need to increase the rates or do some changes in the levels?

This will be discussed further on the mailing list.
Should we remove Drizzle support in 4.6? We got no objection on the developers mailing list, in fact just one intervention asking what is Drizzle. See also Drizzle for developers.
It's agreed to remove Drizzle support for the next release.
