It was a pleasure hosting the last Managers Meeting of FY22 – thanks to all of you who participated. Throughout the year we discussed a lot, including community best practices, customer experience, annual planning, return on investment, and more.

It was fitting that we ended the fiscal year with a conversation around the successes and challenges of FY22 and our ideas for FY23. Thanks for sharing community accomplishments, challenges, goals for next year, and how we can continue to collaborate across communities.

In addition to hearing your stories, below are a couple key takeaways that we discussed and which we aim to bring into our goals for FY23.

  • Hold a cross-community event series on a topic, such as innovation.
  • Send regular “what’s going on messages” regarding community activities to better cross pollinate and keep our peers informed.
  • Increase and diversify community outreach to find the people in government who most need our communities and services.

Let us know if you have other ideas for how we can collaborate more across communities in FY23. Let’s work on them together!
