October 2021 Manager Meeting: Research on Community Best Practices

This month’s topic was research on community best practices.

The research we highlighted will help us provide better services to all the communities and hopefully help you continue to be great community leaders and have a successful FY22. The federal government needs communities to not only provide a safe space for like minded professionals to grow and learn from one another, but also to drive change and solve problems.

In our meeting we focused on strategy must-dos, including mission alignment and quantifying success, management must-dos, including creating a safe environment for discussion and understanding membership needs, and communication must-does, including providing various venues for dialogue and documenting success stories and sharing results.
