Procedure

Procedures represent any kind of treatment for an illness given to a patient involving some sort of physical or mental intervention, excluding Medications and Immunizations. This may include:

  • Surgical procedures
  • Physical or psychological therapies
  • Acupuncture
  • Other kinds of treatment or therapy

Trigger

The same as the Procedure-Name.

Example of 'Procedure' for hormone replacement surgery.

Example of 'Procedure' for total knee arthroplasty.

Arguments

  • Code- An optional Procedure-Code, such as a CPT or ICD10 PCS code.
  • Duration - An Equality Comparison representing a duration of time that the Procedure was performed.
  • Location - The physical Location a Procedure occurred at.
  • Minimum-Count - An Equality Comparison representing the minimum number of times a Procedure event must occur, e.g., "... at least twice in the past year".
  • Name - The Procedure-Name.
  • Recency - An optional Recency annotation indicating whether a Procedure must be the first or most recent.
  • Temporality - An Equality Comparison representing the time period the Procedure event occurred in.
