Negation

Negation indicates that a given event is an exclusion, rather than inclusion criteria.

Trigger

A phrase such as not, doesn't, or abstain from.

Note: if the word "except" is used, annotate instead as an Exception.

Examples

Example of 'Negation' as an exclusion of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Arguments

  • Negates - One or more Events which are negated.
  • Temporality - An optional Eq-Comparison during which the negated event must occur.
