GeoTools Budget Request 2022

Previous budget request was not met, providing estates beyond operational budget not worthwhile.
- $2000 operational budget, in keeping with OSGeo default allocation
The following activities are of interest:
- Update Log4j integration to support Log4j2 (allowing projects to upgrade to latest / patched versions)
- Migrate from blogger to GitHub pages
- Issue tracker from Jira --> GitHub (popular request)
- Replace use of Eclipse Modeling Framework models for common OGC services
- Support migration from JAI to ImageN
GeoTools participation in:
- The next OSGeo code sprint, so far our community has expressed a preference to attend remotely.
- OGC API code sprint participation as a client
There are no plans for a GeoTools specific code sprint at this time.
We do not for see the need for assistance attending the 2022 AGM. One of our leadership will either be present at the event, or we will appoint a delegate to present on our behalf.
