Text editor

Ocelot.Social networks feature a simple text editor that helps you creating your posts and comments, formatting text, inserting links and more.

1. Toolbar

The toolbar provides you with functions to format your text and insert links. You can use keyboard shortcuts and markdown code too. Click the question mark next to the toolbar to get more explanations.

2. Adding a link

By clicking the link button you can add a hyperlink:

1. Highlight the text that should become a link.
2. Click the link button in the toolbar.
3. Enter the full URL of the target page including http:// or https://.
4. Press Enter on your keyboard.

3. Paragraphs and line breaks

In the editor, paragraphs are enabled by default. If you hit Enter on your keyboard a paragraph with vertical extra spacing is created.

If you hit Shift+Enter at the end of a text line no new paragraph but a new line with no extra spacing is created.

Use the paragraph button to turn your headings back into paragraphs. First click the heading and then the button.

4. Other content

You can add video, audio, tags and mention and notify other users.
