KiwiJoghurt is the name of a german team participating in RoboCup competitions. They specialize in the category 'Rescue', which aims to simulate navigation and localization of injured people in disaster scenarios, e.g. a collapsed building after an earth quake. The team is well-established and already has achieved a number of notable successes, among them an impressive 3rd place in the RoboCup world championship in Suzhou (China). For their switch from Lego robots to a self-built design they required a flexible and easily programmable smart camera. The leanXcam of course is an obvious candidate with these criteria in mind.
