Welcome to the Geneshot wiki!

Geneshot is a tool which allows researchers to analyze Whole-Genome Shotgun (WGS) metagenomic sequencing datasets in order to identify the microbial genes which are present. This tool also provides some support for statistical analysis to identify which microbial gene groups are higher or lower in relative abundance as a function of some other metadata feature (treatment vs. control, etc.) provided by the user.
