PanelConfig

The Configurations panel of Amiberry, allows you to see all previously saved configurations you have. You can Load, Save and Delete configurations from this list.

A Configuration file (.uae) contains all the emulator settings available in it. Loading such a file, will apply those settings to Amiberry immediately. Accordingly, you can Save your current settings in a file, for future use.

A configuration file named default has special meaning for Amiberry. If such a file exists, it will be automatically loaded and applied on startup, overriding any default options Amiberry would have otherwise.

  • Load: Allows you to load the currently selected file from the list.
  • Save: Saves the current configuration with the config name and description currently populated in the fields above. In other words, if you want to save a configuration, ensure you have filled in the name and description first, then click this button. If the filename already exists, it will be renamed to configuration.backup, to keep it as a backup.
  • Delete: as you'd expect, this will delete the currently selected configuration file from the disk (and the list).

Please note that if you have already started the emulation, then loading a configuration file will disable the Start button automatically. You can perform a Reset in that case, instead.
