PanelAbout

The About panel contains information about the version of Amiberry, when it was changed, which version of SDL2 it was compiled against and which version it's currently using.

Furthermore, you can also find the GPLv3 license notice here, as well as the credits (if you scroll down)

At the bottom of the screen, there are a few buttons available regardless of which panel you have selected. Those are:

  • Shutdown: allows you to shutdown the whole system. Convenient if you are using the emulator on a device that may be far away, and you want to turn if off when you're done. This option can be disabled if you wish, by the related option in amiberry.conf: disable_shutdown_button

  • Quit: This quits Amiberry, as you'd expect.

  • Restart: This button will stop emulation (if running), reload Amiberry and reset the configuration. This has a similar effect as if you Quit and Start Amiberry again. It can be useful if you want to change a setting that cannot be changed on-the-fly, for example, and you don't want to quit and start the emulator again to do that.

  • Help: This will display some on-screen help/documentation, regarding the Panel you are currently in.

  • Reset: This button will trigger a hard reset of the emulation, which will reboot with the current settings.

  • Start: This button starts the emulation, using the current settings you have set.
