#Software requirements - Developer view
The developers want to spent as less time as possible with the development of the system parts to finish it within 3 months.
- good understanding of the system and its components including diagrams and natural language
- specify interface between components
- mostly standalone components so that small groups can focus on one components and its technologies
- usage of well-known and easy to programming languages where it causes no efficiency problem
- integrated logging and debugging components
- testing within every component and for groups of components working together to identify errors in interfaces
- easy to maintain
- easy to extend
- document development process
The developers want to see their work actually created something to bit (at least a bit) proud of
- Metalcon should be good enough to attract a reasonable amount of users
- Metalcon should motivate users to be a creative community (in terms of creating content)
