Metalcon will consist of the following components which will run as stand alone services and be independent of each other
- componentAutoSuggestionServer (Christian)
- componentNewsStream (sebastian)
- componentSearch (Lukas)
- componentLikeButton and componentRecommender (exploring Mahout)(Patrik)
- componentCityGuide (exploring Indices and requirements)
- componentImageServer (just use some open source CDN? There seems to be almost no appropriate solution)
- componentMusicServer (research potential technologies / requirements)
- componentEmail (just defining requirements and set everything up, probably build from scratch)
- componentMessaging (just defining requirements, probably build from scratch)
- componentPrivacy (defning requirements / not clear where to integrate!)
