A common task is to crop a folder full of images. One way in nip2 is: Open the first image - to make A1

with Control Drag - mark the crop region (A2)

File->Open all the images you want to crop - with multiselect (eg shift-click) this makes a "Group" A3

menu select Toolkits->Image->Crop to make A4

then edit the numbers you see as follows: Crop left to A2.left Crop top to A2.top Crop width to A2.width Crop height to A2.height

You now have full control over the crop across all the images and can move/resize the crop box in A2 to make any final adjustments.

To save the images Right click on A4, choose Save As, make a new folder,

enter 0.jpg for the filename. This will be incremented to 1.jpg etc.

The jpg pop up will ask you for the Quality factor you want to use.

Press Save.

OR you can save the first image load by:

File->Open all the images you want to crop - with multiselect (eg shift-click) this makes a "Group" A1

make A2 by typing A1.value?1

draw a crop box on it (which makes A3)

edit the crop values to A3.left A3.top A3.width A3.height

right click on A3 and save - entering 0.jpg as the starting filename (it autoincrements)
