DGen is a emulator for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis made by DGen was originally written by Dave. It was ported to SDL by Joe Groff and Phil K. Hornung. It was resurrected by tamentis in 2008 and is maintained by zamaz since september 2011. and has a Freeware license, the GUI language is English.
The latest version of the emulator on EDC is 1.33-win64 (x64), released on 2014-07-26, it runs on Windows XP,Vista,7,8,10, you can start this emulator with dgen.exe.
This emulator does NOT specificly need BIOS image(s) to start ROM files!
DGen is a Sega Mega Drive and Genesis emulator.
