atari++ is a emulator for Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit series made by Thomas Richter and has a THOR Public Licence license, the GUI language is English.
The latest version of the emulator on EDC is 1.58 (x86), released on 2009-11-30, it runs on Windows XP,Vista,7,8,10, you can start this emulator with atari++.exe.
This emulator does NOT specificly need BIOS image(s) to start ROM files!
atari++ is an emulator for (now rather aged) Atari 8 bit computers. It emulates the Atari800, Atari400, the 800XL and 600XL, the 65XE and 130XE and the Atari 5200 Game Console. The emulation is cycle-precise, that is 'on the fly' modifications of chip registers will be visible on the screen immediately, emulating even programs using horizontal kernel tricks correctly.
