Install a temporary add on
An installed extension will work while Firefox is opened. Once you close the browser, the extension will be unloaded.
Follow these instructions to get extension builds.
Follow these steps to install the extension as a temporary add-on:
- Click on the hamburger icon and select the "Add-ons" menu item.
- Click on the cog icon and select the "Debug Add-ons" item.
- Turn on the "Enable add-on debugging" option, then click on the "Load Temporary Add-on" button and select the directory where the built extension is placed.
