Tools with support for open62541

  • The Beeond OPC UA Information Modeling eXcelerator Professional Editor (UMX Pro) is a graphical information modeling editor that helps developers create, merge, and configure UA compliant Information Models and output a XML Node Set file. Additionally, UMX Pro is integrated with the open62541 Code Generator, saving additional development time. For more information visit www.beeond.net/umxpro.

Products

Open Source Projects using open62541

  • open62541-compat, LGPL Adapts open62541 to Unified Automation C++ OPCUA Server API such that software written on top of the UASDK can run using open62541-compat and open62541. Of course it does not cover the whole UA-SDK API but a lot is done already.

  • CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Experiments control, LGPL
Many OPCUA clients and servers run using open62541. The servers and clients are built using quasar (Quick OPCUA Server generation framework) for which open62541 is one of "built-in" OPCUA providers.

  • ChimeraTK, DESY / HZDR Accelerator, LGPL
Control system and Hardware Interface with Mapped and Extensible Register-based device Abstraction Tool Kit. ChimeraTK Framework uses open62541

  • Eclipse 4diac, Eclipse Public License
Open source infrastructure for distributed industrial process measurement and control systems based on the IEC61499 standard.
open62541 is the basis for OPC UA function blocks.

  • Perl XS wrapper, same License as Perl 5
The OPCUA::Open62541 module provides a Perl interface to the C functions and data structures of open62541. This is still work in progress.

  • QUaServer, MIT License
Qt based library that provides a C++ wrapper for the open62541 library, and abstraction for the OPC UA Server API.

  • Qt OPC UA, Qt License (LGPL, GPL)
Qt API to interact with OPC UA on top of a 3rd party OPC UA stack.
open62541 is one of the supported OPC UA stacks

  • topcua, BSD License
A proof-of-concept binding to Tcl plus some tools around it, see the wiki page topcua for example use.

  • open62541-nodeset-exporter, MPL2.0 License
A C++ 20 project for exporting a nodeset to xml and other formats. The nodesetexporter library uses Open62541, collects the required data from the OPC UA server and converts this data into an XML export file or out buffer.
