Many Windows protection and security products refuse to allow us to open ports for incoming traffic. You will need to review your settings and depending on the security product you may need to enable things for our application or disable some of the security for the wallet and it's daemon to run.

In extreme cases anti-virus products have deleted or moved the Agama.exe after you attempt to run it. They will usually log some details and may show status information when doing this, but it is easy to miss. To operate with one of these we had to disable some of the anti-virus product's protections.

VerusCoin details and the VRSC wallet.dat are stored in

\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Komodo\VRSC

Swap your user name in for <username>. You should consider backing the wallet.dat file up carefully and securely.

CPUs older than 5 years may not have AES-NI instructions. Please check https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html before installing to be sure that you can mine Verus. We will release a version of the wallet that works on older PCs in the future, but it will only be for staking.
