Version 0.3.6-beta has dependencies built in so it is pretty simple to use. Download it from the VerusCoin web site and click on it in the Downloads folder with finder, it's Agama-mac-v0.3.6.dmg.

Clicking it will mount the Agama folder on your desktop. Find it and click on it, then click on the Agama icon within it. If nothing seems to happen try holding the control key down when you click on it to see if it gives you an option to open it anyway. If that does not work, try going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Under the General Tab if you see an Allow anyway? option click on it.

If the Mac informs you the settings don't allow Agama to run (app off the internet, unknown developer), go to the Mac System Preferences/Security and Privacy and it shows Agama as blocked. Click on the button to enable Agama, then click on Agama again and it should start normally.

VerusCoin details and the VRSC wallet.dat are stored in ~/Library/Application\ Support/Komodo/VRSC and you should consider backing the wallet.dat file up regularly, carefully and securely.

CPUs older than 5 years may not have AES-NI instructions, so as mentioned in the announcement, please check https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html before installing to be sure that you can mine Verus. We will release a version of the wallet that works on older PCs in the future, but it will only be for staking.
