Using the zoom function

The “Zoom” function is used to zoom in or out on the entire contents of a diagram.

Zooming in on the contents of a diagram increases the size of the elements shown, making it easier to read.

Zooming out on a diagram’s contents reduces the size of the elements shown, and can be particularly useful if you are working with a large-scale diagram and wish to visualize a larger part of the presentation.

To use the “Zoom” function, simply carry out the following steps:

  • Click inside the diagram you want to zoom in or out of.

  • Roll the mouse wheel while pressing the Ctrl key or use the ‘ + ’ and ‘ ’ keys to zoom either in or out on the diagram contents.

You can also use the “Zoom in” [2] and “Zoom out” [3] icons in the diagram toolbar.
