The ALPHA mode implements some keycommands that aren't very often used. Switch to NORMAL mode then press:
<Key-3>
It will appear in the statusbar mode field that vy is in ALPHA mode. You can switch back to NORMAL mode by pressing:
<Escape>
The BETA mode is an extra mode that may be used to implement extra functionalities. The PDB mode is implemented in BETA mode.
In order to switch to BETA mode, press the key below in NORMAL mode:
<Key-4>
The GAMMA mode is an extra mode. It is implemented in NORMAL mode:
<Key-5>
It would get vy in GAMMA mode.
DELTA is an auxiliary mode as ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA are. It is implemented in NORMAL mode:
<Key-6>
It would get vy in DELTA mode.
