Working with GitHub Webhooks

Emma Sax edited this page Jul 20, 2015 · 1 revision

As the README.md says, Hubstats uses GitHub webhooks to keep its data updated. This means that you must follow the README.md's instructions, as well as generate your webhooks. The organization webhook can be created through a command (see Setting Up Your Hubstats Database). The repository webhook must be run for every repository that Hubstats is following. To make sure this happens, run the normal setup_repos command (again, see Setting Up Your Hubstats Database). Any webhooks that are made can always be confirmed by going to the Settings page of your repository, and clicking Webhooks.
