RandomPartitioner (RP) is a legacy partitioner. RP is added to Scylla only for users who already use RP and wish to continue using it. New cluster deployment is recommended to use Murmur3Partitioner. RP uses MD5 to hash partition key into 16 bytes long token. With RP, Data is distributed evenly on nodes in the cluster.
