Vampire Player


Traits

  • Player has different Vampire levels
  • Speed, damage, jump height and health are increased depending on the level
  • Player gets a night vision effect which gets stronger with higher levels (can be toggled [default key: N])
  • The player's foodbar is replaced by a blood bar and the blood is consumed over time
  • Enough blood or blood shortage is treated similar to the food level effects
  • Players with level > 0 can suck blood from a mob, depending on the mob, the player gets blood added, hurt, or poisoned
  • Mobs that were bitten and gave blood are converted to a vampire version or die
  • Blood can be stored in blood bottles and be consumed later
  • The skin is modified slightly if the player is a vampire

Sun Damage

There are three types of impact of the sun: Nausea, weakness and damage. When you are a lower level vampire you only get the first effect, at high levels you get all of them. By consuming the sunscreen item you can lower the level of impact by one. The damage is implemented as instant damage which is applied every 2 seconds and you can stay 5 seconds in the sun until it starts.

Skills

As a vampire you get special skills with higher levels. You can for example control the weather as of level 4.
To activate this there is a special menu: Hold the middle mouse button [check your key/control configuration] pressed and a "skill rose" will pop up, move the mouse in the direction of the desired skill until it's highlighted and release the button.
If you don't want so select any skill either release the mouse when nothing is selected or select the red cross.
All skills have a minimum required level and a cooldown time, you can only activate it if it is not in cooldown mode. Some skills also have a duration, then you can deactivate the skill if you do not need it anymore by selecting it again to decrease the cooldown time. Selection of skills

Bat Transformation

At night you can convert to a bat and fly like in creative mod, but you cannot place or break blocks or use items. Another big disadvantage of the bat is its low health, so avoid hostile creatures. You can toggle it as often as you want, but at sunrise you will be automatically converted back.

Summon Bats

Can only be used when in bat mode and has a long cool down. It is designed to be used in multi-player, on activation a lot of bats spawn around you which makes it hard for other players to spot you. On top of that the summoned bats give any non vampire player they hit a short blindness effect. After some time the bats will die.

Revive the fallen

Zombies and Skeletons (more mobs might be added in the future) now some times leave a pile of bones when they die. Then you can use this skill to revive the fallen mobs which will then fight as minions for you.
