Refugee Lawyers Project
Helping Hands
The Refugee Lawyers Project is a simple list of US-based attorneys ready to connect with individuals affected by the recent travel ban imposed by the government. Lawyers are listed together with nearby airports and their contact details. Updates to this list are welcomed and should be forwarded to staff. We are aware of recent court decisions altering the application of this ban, but will maintain this list until events prove it is no longer needed.
Helping Hands will be a pair of mobile applications (iPhone and Android) designed to connect refugee claimants in Canada with good samaritans who have services, goods, and jobs to offer. At this time, design is in progress.
