Snippets of thought. Probably best to look a way...

DataFAQs strives to minimize the entry cost for publishers, consumers, and curators of Linked Data so that each may provide one-time contributions that continue to benefit the community.

Using linked data to analyze linked data use.

Context free versus contextual.

We have created a web service that modifies CKAN listings based on a richer RDF description so that users do not need to learn the underlying conventions used within CKAN.

We thank Yu Chen, Dominic Difranzo, and Alvaro Graves for the engaging discussions throughout the conception of DataFAQs. Thanks to Jim McCusker for introducing us to SADI and creating sadi.py. Thanks to Alvaro Graves for creating and supporting LODSPeakr.

Because DataFAQs is a work in progress, many outstanding problems remain to be solved. How can evaluation services report their results in a generically consumable structure? Currently, the services return any RDF description of the dataset, but a core vocabulary should be chosen or designed so that the reports can be presented in the navigator with little custom effort. How to guide users towards a better evaluation measure? Instructions could vary widely depending on the metric and the expertise of the user.
