Mareotis Tholus

1.) Download the orthoimage and DEM for "HiRISE East Mareotis Tholus (Full Sized)" from here.

2.) Create a directory called MareotisTholus for the landscape.

3.) Create the elevation layer:

landscapefactory -type=elevation -file=HiRISE-E_Mareotis_Tholus-DEM.tif -landscape=MareotisTholus -tilesize=128 -missing=-100000

4.) Create the orthoimage layer:

landscapefactory -type=grayimage -file=HiRISE-E_Mareotis_Tholus-DRG.tif -landscape=MareotisTholus -tilesize=128

5.) Run DERT and select File>Open Landscape ..., navigate to the MareotisTholus landscape, select it, and press New Configuration.

6.) Open the surface and layers view and configure the elevation map layer.
