API Documentation
The Ilios API endpoint documentation can always be found locally by visiting /api/doc on your Ilios application server. The Ilios most current API livedocs are always available for review here:

The Ilios API is a versioned JSON API.

Major versions will be released every 18 months. Each version will be considered stable and active for 18 months after release, and will also be fully supported for an additional 6 months after a new version is launched, giving each version an effective supported lifespan of 24 months. After that time, while earlier versions of the API will continue to be active, they will not be supported by the Ilios Project.

Minor (non-breaking) version updates will be released every 2-4 weeks. These point updates will be considered as part of the major release, and governed by the support rules for their initial major version release point.
