Dashboard Feature: Schedule

Overview

The integrated schedule gives all participants at your hackathon an easy way to see events, register for workshops with limited space, and provide important reminders. You can create events for your hackathon directly in Dashboard and give information such as room number, maximum participants, etc...

As the hackathon goes on, the schedule will automatically hide past-due events so that users will always have the most relevant information directly available for them.

How to Use

1. Select the Schedule icon from the menu bar. If the button is not visible, an administrator must enable the feature flag for schedule.

2. On the bottom left of the page, click the button New Event

3. Fill out the information in the form with the details of the event

   • It is recommended that you use Google Chrome for this, as then you will be able to use its date picker to select the starting time and ending time for the event. If you choose to use a brower that does not have a date picker, follow the exact timing format provided.
   • If you would like to limit the number of participants at the event, you may choose to allow RSVPs.

4. On the main schedule page, Organizers and Administrators can click on the green 'Check In Attendee' button to check people into events that have RSVP enabled.
