Discussion list

Here you can raise topics that you want to have discussed during the 2014 Hackathon. Please also add your name and provide a short description of the topic. If a topic already exists, feel free to add your name if you're also interested in it.

  • Topic_Name (UserName, UserName, ...) - Topic_Description

  • Java 8 & baselining / diffing (All)

  • Maven-related topics:

  • Discuss what needs to be done before the bnd-maven-plugin can be released

  • Discuss how Maven-centric people can take more advantage of bnd/bndtools

  • Introducing .bndtest projects (Marcel) - For each "integration test" we now need to make a new project, which means we end up with a lot of projects if we use a lot of different test configurations. I'd like to introduce a .bndtest extension that defines an integration test so we can have multiple in a single project.

  • Working with fixed version bundle dependencies on workspace bundles (Paul) - Unreleased bundle versions can't be used currently when specifying a version for a build dependency.

  • Allow multiple persons to perform a release (Ferry)

  • Situation surrounding ee.j2se, we really need one for 7 and 8 (Ferry)

  • Making more use of DS in bndtools (Ferry)
