- My name is Fernando J. Bermúdez Medina!
- I am currently living in Seattle, WA, but I'm originally from Ponce, PR!
- I am currently Software Engineer at Apple as part of the Evolve Rotational Program.
- In my current rotation I'm working as a Applied Machine Learning Research Engineer in the AMP AI/ML Video Recommendations Team under the Apple Services Engineering Organization
- Previously, I worked as a Data Engineer on the Eval Searc & Auto-Complete Data Scienc team under the Maps Organization
- I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus.
- I am currently in the process of obtaining my Master of Science in Computer Science (with a specialization in Machine Learning) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
- I did! I was a Software Development Engineering Intern at Amazon in Summer 2021, and a Software Engineering Intern in Summer 2022 with Meta!
- I also worked as an Instructor for the Data Structures course in UPRM from 2020-2023.
