The GSF Parser requires collecting data about the characters you play in order to accurately use screen parsing, see the Screen Parsing page for more information.

Characters are automatically detected at start-up. SWTOR creates a special file for each character you have ever played on your machine. These files are detected upon start-up of the GSF Parser and then your character name, server and GUI Profile are automatically detected. You have to enter the faction of your character yourself, which is also required.

Discord Sharing

In order to share your character results and name with the GSF Parser Discord Bot, you should enable that feature for each character individually in the Characters tab. Select your character by double-clicking it in the list, and enable the feature.

If you do not enable this feature, your character name and results are not shared, but generic match data is still shared. This means that the GSF Parser cannot reveal your secret alts, unless you enable the feature.

Upon checking the checkbox, your character is instantly registered with the GSF Parser Discord Bot, and is not removed upon unchecking the checkbox.
