The Lightmapper

Image

Description

The Lightmapper is an addon for Blender that implements lightmapping, denoising and filtering capabilities for global illumination texture baking with support for 32-bit HDR Lightmaps. Baking is done through Cycles. The baking workflow is object-oriented which provides a higher degree of flexibility and speed.

The addon is free and open-source. Although if you like it, feel welcome to send a thank you my way, so I know there's users and I'll feel motivated to continue development. If you find bugs, be very welcome to add them to the issue tracker here, so I can have it fixed right away!

Initially made as an Armory3D lightmapping solution, the addon improves the workflow of baking the lighting for your scenes and allows fast iteration of lighting studies in realtime environments. The addon can be used easily with Blender engines such as Armory3D, EEVEE and UPBGE, as well as external applications such as Three.js, Godot, Unity and more.
