This tool helps you manage your Yandex Cloud services from one place. You can start or stop virtual machines, view storage buckets or serverless functions—all from one place. It also supports automatic VM start/stop based on macOS conditions, like when your Mac goes to sleep or wakes up.

yaControl: managing certain Yandex Cloud services

Why ?

I couldn't find a macOS app that lets me manage virtual machines hosted on Yandex Cloud. Using the web interface every time felt inconvenient, so I decided to create this small utility for myself.

What to pay attention to

I tried to implement automatic control of virtual machines — their startup and shutdown — because in 99% of cases, I don’t need VMs running when I’m not using my laptop.

How to use the app

See the screenshots below. You’ll need an OAuth key from your Yandex Cloud account, so start by configuring the app the first time you launch it.

How it was made

The idea is 100% mine.
About 90% of the code was written with the help of DeepSeek and ChatGPT, and 10% was written or edited by me directly.

Features

Release 1.0.0:

After the first launch, start with the setup. After that, I hope everything is clear and doesn't need further explanation — just follow the screenshots.
