- Use the latest Bifrost version (1.2.1) which is faster and more memory-efficient, enables Bifrost indexes and compressed GFA output, faster read IO, etc.
- Enable compressed output with -G
- Allow input and output long read dataset with maximum base quality >40 with -Q
- Fix a major issue with graph vertices that could have insufficient or no short read coverage due to subsampling resulting in no correction
- Enable a couple more advanced/dev arguments in CLI
- Minor bug fixes
GCC version minimum requirement changes to 5.1 (from 4.8).
